No he hecho mucho durante la semana pasada: No viajé, me quedé en Madrid durante el fin de semana. El Martes, Katy, Carissa y yo tuvimos "Taco Tuesday" en mi piso. Cocinamos la carne, arroz y frijoles, e hicimos los tacos para la cena. Miguel y Benji comieron con nosotros y hablamos sobre la cultura española y más. Nos divertimos mucho y querremos tener "Taco Tuesday" muchas veces en el futuro. El siguiente será en la casa de Carissa o Katy porque vivo muy lejos de ellas.
El Miércoles, fui al programa, "Late Motiv" con Benji, Miguel y muchos compañeros de clase de ellos. Late Motiv es un programa similar al "Jimmy Fallon Show" en los Estados Unidos. El anfitrión tuvo visitantes, habló con ellos y una banda tocó para nosotros. No entendí mucho durante el programa, pero mi divertí. Además, alguien ganó un viaje gratis de ida y vuelta a Milán.
Hace dos semanas, mis padres me mandaron un paquete con chocolates de Ghirardelli, dulces de Halloween, una carta y algunas otras cosas. Finalmente, ¡lo obtuve! Fui a Aduanas con mi vecina de hace tres años, Eva, que es como mi mamá de España. Me ayudó muchísimo para conseguirlo.
Halloween fue ayer. Celebré el sábado y el lunes: el sábado con Miguel, Benji y otros amigos; anoche con Carissa, Katy, mi compañero de trabajo, Billy y otra gente. Me disfracé de calabaza, disfraz que compré en Primark. Cuando estuve en Primark la primera vez, me di cuenta que tenían muchas cosas baratas. Tenía que volver!
Como noticias finales... ¡mi novia, Jess, viene a Madrid en menos de tres semanas! Ella viene a visitarme durante la semana del Día de Acción de Gracias. Mis compañeros de piso y yo tendremos una cena del Día de Acción de Gracias con otros estadounidenses para celebrar un día de fiesta americano, porque no se celebra aquí en España. ¡Estoy muy, muy, muy emocionado por su visita aquí!

Hello Everybody,
I did not do too much last week: I did not travel, I stayed in Madrid over the weekend. On Tuesday, Katy, Carissa and I had "Taco Tuesday" at my apartment. We cooked the meat, rice, and beans, and made tacos for dinner. Miguel and Benji ate with us and we all talked about Spanish culture and more. We had lots of fun and want to have "Taco Tuesday" again many times in the future. The next will be at Carissa or Katy's place because I live so far from everyone.
On Wednesday, I went to the television program, "Late Motiv" with Benji, Miguel, and many of their classmates. "Late Motiv" is a television program similar to "The Jimmy Fallon Show" in the US. The host had guests and talked with them, and a band played for us. I did not understand much during the show, but I had fun! Additionally, someone won a free trip to Milan.
Two weeks ago, my parents sent me a box with Ghirardelli chocolates, Halloween candy, a card, and some other things. I finally picked it up! I went to Customs with my old neighbor from three years ago, Eva, who is like my Spanish mother. She helped me a ton during this process.
Halloween was yesterday. I celebrated on Saturday and Monday: On Saturday with Miguel, Benji and other friends; last night with Carissa, Katy, my colleague Billy, and other people. I dressed up as a pumpkin that I bought from Primark. While shopping, I saw that Primark is super cheap and would like to shop there in the future.
In my last bit of news, my girlfriend, Jess, is coming to Madrid in less than three weeks! She is going to visit during the week of Thanksgiving. My roommates and I will be having a Thanksgiving dinner for other Americans to celebrate and American holiday because it is not celebrated here in Spain. I am very, very, very excited for her to visit!
